When you choose the office of Dr. Harvey Mayers as your optometric clinic of choice, you’ll be in the experienced hands of our Etobicoke optometrist. Dr. Mayers has 25 years of experience as an optometrist in Etobicoke and our entire staff is certified under the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Our highly trained staff utilizes the latest medical technology and techniques when providing assessments, we are glad to talk with you one-on-one about your eye health and optical problems, and we can answer any questions that you may have.
Our location offers many services and products for our patients. We are a full dispensary with contact lenses as well as glasses, and we can perform laser surgical management. We can also perform retinal imaging at our office. This is a form of answer imaging where we collect images of the eye through a microscope and the images come up on a computer next to patient so we can record what’s going on with the outside of the eye. We offer another scan called optical coherence tomography (OCT). This is a retinal peripheral scan for the optic nerve and macula in the center of eye as well as the periphery part of your eye. This scan tests for early signs of retinal hemorrhaging, retinal detachment, diabetes and other medical issues. We offer scans for children starting at age 3, and we can continue to perform testing throughout your lifetime.
