Dr. Mayers has been an optometrist in the Toronto area for over 23 years. Graduated from the University of Waterloo, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Mayers is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists as well as The Canadian Association of Optometrists. He is also a Director of the Associated Eye Care Services (AECS) of Toronto. Dr. Mayers has published his contact lens research, and remains on the leading edge in Bifocal contact lens research and in ocular photodocumentation.
